General

As a result of our ambitious buy & build strategy, Mr. Marine has and will continue to grow strongly. Together with our continuous strive for improvements, we are looking to further strengthen our Finance team and seek an energetic and proactive Financial accountant.

As Financial accountant you are responsible for the integrity of our financial accounts. This includes processing AP invoices and bank statements and preparing Sales invoices. Furthermore, you are performing GL activities, such as maintaining suspense accounts and stock management as well as the draft analysis of the income statement and balance sheet in the month end close process.


Job Description

In this role you will:

  • Record AP invoices and bank statements and prepare Sales invoices;

  • Process period end closure journal entries;

  • Maintain the control suspense accounts;

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of income statement and balance sheet in the period end close process;

  • Be part of the team that continuously develops and improves SAP B1, and implements further innovative analyses in Power BI.

Job requirements

Function requirements

  • 2+ years of working experience in financial accounting;

  • MBO-4 or HBO degree in Accounting;

  • Experience with or knowledge of SAP B1 is a big plus;

  • Proficient in English.

Note: EU passport or work permit without restrictions is required as this position will be working at our headquarters in Rotterdam.
