IT Support Engineer – Rotterdam

We're looking for a hands-on IT Support Engineer who will help us maintain, improve, and support our IT infrastructure and users. You’ll be part of a dynamic environment where your proactive attitude and technical skills will directly impact our operational excellence.

What You’ll Do
Provide IT helpdesk and end-user support across the organization.
Maintain and improve IT systems, including servers, cloud services, and cybersecurity infrastructure.
Administer and manage Windows environments, including Active Directory.
Assist with Linux system administration (a plus).
Handle network configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Support and maintain virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Participate in implementation projects, system upgrades, and migrations.
Use basic scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) to streamline repetitive tasks.
Work within and support a Google Workspace (Google Apps) environment.
Job requirements
What We’re Looking For
A few years of hands-on IT experience (e.g., helpdesk, IT support, or computer store technician).
Solid understanding of computer hardware, SAP, networking, and general troubleshooting.
Experience with Windows administration and Active Directory.
Familiarity with Linux environments is a plus.
Understanding of networking principles and experience with network configuration.
Knowledge of virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Basic knowledge of automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
MBO/HBO-level education or equivalent experience.
Strong communication skills and a proactive, service-oriented mindset.
Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+ are a plus.
