Job description
As Sales & Business Development Specialist, you will play a key role in expanding Mr. Marine’s customer base and driving revenue growth across our products and services (Elevator, Ballast, and Instruments & Controls).
You will be both a hunter (winning new business) and a farmer (developing long-term relationships with existing accounts). Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will contribute directly to the company’s commercial strategy and success.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a sales and business development plan aligned with company objectives.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, generating qualified leads and RFQs.
Grow and maintain a strong portfolio of customers through consultative, solution-oriented sales.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to anticipate trends and opportunities.
Plan and perform regular customer meetings; report outcomes and next steps to management.
Collaborate with marketing, operations, technical, and finance teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to contract, with effective handover to operations.
Monitor sales activities, track KPIs, and prepare accurate sales reports for management.
Represent Mr. Marine with professionalism, building trust and long-term partnerships.
Job requirements
Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Engineering, Maritime Studies, or related field).
5+ years’ experience in Sales, Account Management, or Business Development.
Background in the maritime, offshore, or technical services industry preferred.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Experience with technical products or services is a strong advantage.
Skills & Abilities
Excellent communication and presentation skills in business English (other languages are a plus).
Strong consultative sales approach, able to identify customer needs and propose solutions.
Effective problem solver with strong analytical and organizational skills.
Comfortable working both independently and in cross-functional teams.
Resilient, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
